Reporting overview
- Report Cards will be issued to parents at regular points throughout the academic year. For each cohort the timing of the report will vary in order to provide the information at the most useful time and in order to spread the workload for staff.
- The annual reporting structure is summarised below:

- At Key Stage 3, the reports cards will represent student’s attainment using four indicators - Exceptional, Above, Inline, Below. Students who are working significantly below the expected level will be identified by X in Concern column.
- At Key Stage 4 and 5, the report cards will represent student’s current attainment using GCSE/A Level grade (the grade they are currently working at in their current unit of study).
- At Key Stage 3 and 4, “Attitude to learning” and “Behavior” is reported at a four-point scale: Excellent, Good, Satisfactory and Unacceptable. At Key Stage 3, only “Attitude to learning” is reported.
- Progress cards will also some areas to improve on report cards. These areas are Organisation, Working at full potential, Contribute more, Reviewing key content and practice skills, Accuracy & consistency, Literacy and Numeracy.
- All reports will be sent home electronically.
