In years 10 and 11 all students study

• the core subjects of Physical education, Games, and PSHE; and
• the GCSE subjects of English language, English literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

They also have a choice of an additional three GCSEs from French, German, Mandarin, History, Geography, Art, Photography, Music, Computer Science, Design technology and PE.

A discrete lesson of PSHE is taught in form groups once per week and delivered by a PSHE specialist teacher in Years 10 and 11.

Most students stay on at Aston to continue their studies to A Level.

In years 10 and 11, current working at grades are reported using the GCSE (9-1) grades.
